I started Milman Search in 2010 after spending 12 years leading large sales teams in the apparel and education industries, and managing another recruiting firm for 3 years. I loved managing teams, but really found my passion in making lasting and meaningful connections. Since I was always recruiting, training and coaching people anyway, I decided to do it as my fulltime job. And not a day has gone by that I have regretted making that transition. I truly love what I do, and the same warm, friendly and humorous personality I have in my personal life is what I bring to Milman Search. My ability to communicate with people and make connections is my biggest strength, and I use it every day. Nothing gives me more pride than helping a company or job seeker find what they are looking for because of my efforts. Good stuff indeed!
I strongly believe in being honest, ethical, and real in both my personal and business relationships, and that has allowed me to build long term trust and mutually beneficial bonds with my clients. It has earned us an excellent reputation built on that foundation. I believe in working hard, playing hard, and making the most out of every day. We only get to live our lives once, so why live it any other way.
When I am not working, I cherish my time with my amazing wife, my fabulous daughters, step son and daughter, and our two dogs. My passions include baseball (go Dodgers), and I have so far visited 19 of the 30 ballparks, martial arts (I have earned 3 Black Belts), playing guitar (a work in progress), scuba diving (certified diver), Triathlon (I have completed 5), and anything that gets me outside and moving. As a boutique firm, we take on only a small number of searches at a time. This allows us to give your search the attention and priority it deserves. We work efficiently, and we work smart. After all, we are here to save our clients’ time and money. Our job is to find the right candidate for you, so you can focus on doing your job. We will review your job description, ask a ton of questions, and roll up our sleeves and dive in. We DO NOT believe in sending candidates in bulk who have not been properly screened! We DO present the very best of those candidates we have thoroughly screened and for you. We usually send 1 top candidate to a client for every 10-15 we have screened, so that you only see the very best.
The right candidate is out there, and we will find them! We will screen as many candidates as needed to find those with all of the required qualifications, ending with the one you hire. We handle scheduling for all phone and in-person interviews, feedback and follow-up, presentation of offer and benefits, reference checking (when required), background check (when required) salary and total compensation negotiation and start date. We do it all, and don’t quit until you are completely satisfied with your new hire.
